  Mary Jo Salter is the author of seven previous poetry collections and a children’s book. She has been a coeditor of The Norton Anthology of Poetry in various editions since 1996. As the Krieger-Eisenhower Professor in The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University, she lives in Baltimore.
